Frimley Park Hospital, supported by around £2 billion of NHS investment, is planning a new future for healthcare in our communities by building a new Frimley Park Hospital.

Whilst the current hospital plays a vital role locally, improving care both in community settings and at home, the new hospital when built will enable faster diagnosis and treatment, a better patient experience, and a digitally advanced facility that serves local needs while strengthening its reputation as a great place to work.

A wide range of potential sites have been carefully assessed, including rebuilding on the existing site. However, detailed studies have shown that redevelopment of the existing site is not feasible due to safety, operational, and planning constraints.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust have confirmed that they have identified a preferred site, but its location remains confidential for commercial reasons.
Whilst local residents have raised concerns about transport, road access, and parking alongside rumours of a building site near the Pine Ridge Golf Club .
The trust have advised that all community concerns are being considered as part of the planning process, with the aim of ensuring the new hospital is accessible for patients, staff, and visitors.

With the formal announcement of the new Frimley Park Hospital site yet to be formally announced, the Trust has advised that construction is expected to begin in 2028/29, subject to planning approval.
